Brands Supply & Demand Planner

The Company:

We are currently looking for a Brands Supply & Demand Planner to join our fast growing, successful, FMCG company. The company supply both private label and branded products to highly successful leading retailers worldwide. We are a highly respected, dynamic cosmetic and skincare company who have seen significant growth year on year. We are manufacturers with a brilliant design and NPD department.

The Role:
・To take complete ownership of delivering the supply and demand plan from forecasting, procurement through to distribution of stock within Amelia Knights network as required for the assigned brands within the growing own-brand portfolio.
・Work collaboratively with sales and marketing to monitor sales and brand activities across all channels and measure accuracy of demand forecasting to drive improvements and a more efficient stock inventory.
・Work collaboratively with Brand and relevant sales channels to collate launch forecasts for EPD / NPD and monitor performance post-launch vs. expectation.
・Utilise forward forecasts to plan inventory levels in accordance with stock budget, monitor these inventory levels and be accountable for any variance to the stock budget.
・Monitor and report on availability to all key stakeholders and take actions to resolve any out of stock and availability risks.

・Delivery of the supply plan to ensure optimum availability of SKUs
・Plan and monitor inventory in accordance with stock target
・Monitor and drive reduction in SLOBs lines to achieve an efficient inventory
・Production of various data and reporting against key KPIs as and when required; availability, stock targets, aged stock etc
・Maintenance of working replenishment model to coordinate supply plan
・Execution of supply plan by working collaboratively with manufacturing, warehouse and freight.
・Work with the Brand teams to coordinate EPD & NPD projects from concept to launch
Monitoring of sales against forecast; identifying trends, changes in demand and working with stakeholders to plan promotional activity into demand plan
・Analyse the SKU range to identify and suggest changes in distribution to maximise sales for the brands whilst reducing the tail of the catalogue
・Monitor and drive reduction in SLOB lines to achieve an efficient inventory
・Production of various data and reporting against key KPIs as and when required; forecast accuracy and aged/slow-moving stock
・Develop working relationships directly with key B2B/Retail partners to understand merchandising patterns to assist with better demand planning
・Collaborate with Retail Sales, Ecom Trading, Brand and Marketing teams to facilitate effective demand planning
・Develop effective working relationships across key business stakeholders

Internal Communication & Relationships:
・Develop effective working relationships across key business stakeholders
・Collaborate with Retail and key sales channels in delivering effective supply and demand plan
・Collaborate with Warehouse Ops and Freight teams in the delivery of OTIF
・Build relationships with manufacturing and supply in China to establish effective ways of working

・Experience in a similar, supply planning / demand planning role is essential
・Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
・Proficient in Microsoft Excel
・Commercial mindset
・Team player who can also work autonomously
・Excellent communication skills, able to build strong working relationships internally / externally
・Time management
・Proven analytical skills
